Protea’s Main Office in Gdansk

Protea Sp. z o.o. was set up in 2001. Our main aim was to fulfil the foreign, especially Scandinavian
Companies' great need for cheaper industrial production.

Due to constant rising amount of the orders in 2004 the fusion of Protea and NDT Olesno Company took place. It let us extend the scope of our design and strength calculation services.

In 2005 Protea began to develope rapidly. Very significant growth in sales and profits was noticed. The Firm got many foreign orders from Russian, Norwegian, European Union and Asian Companies.

Factory in Ligota Gorna

As a result of constant growth of orders for different types of equipment, we perceived the necessity of making Protea independent of the subcontrators with the possibility in production cost cutting.

It has resulted in production costs cutting.
In 2008 a new manufacturing and assembling factory was opened in Ligota Górna by Kluczbork.

We offer complex engineering solutions including logistics, warranty assistance and post-warranty services/repairs, as well as modernization of heavy machines.

The main Protea office is located in Gdańsk. The production hall is in Ligota Górna, near Kluczbork. The production capacity of the factory is 1000 tons of steel constructions per year.

The Company has its representative agency in Molde in Norway and it is also represented by our agents in:

Since 2003 Protea was cooperating with Aker Aker Kvaerner Company, currently named - Aker Solutions.
