PROTEA was granted authorization of the Technical Supervision Office to carry out repair works (UD-04-28-N/2-07) and modernization works (UD-04-28-P/2-07) concerning:

• Storehouse placing devices
• Overhead cranes
• Stationary cranes
• Rail cranes
• Portable cranes
• Transportable cranes
• Hoists
• Hoisting winch
• Lifting jacks

The new equipment being delivered to the European Union is designed and supplied according to European Union Directive 2006/42/EC. After assembling and starting-up tests, a EC certificate is released and the machine is marked with CE.

PROTEA awarded Certificate of Qualification according to Achilles - Joint Qualification System. The certificate is given to those suppliers to the Oil Industry in Norway and Denmark, whose qualifications concern the product and services predetermined by regulations.

PROTEA gained the approbation of STEK Company for producing the crane equipment according to rules applied in Russian Federation, in accordance with security norms GOSGORTECHNADZORA ROSII.

In January 2009 Protea has been granted 'Approval for Welding' Certificate by Germanischer Lloyd.
This document certifies that welding processes applied in Protea are in accordance with the  Germanischer Lloyd  Rules for Welding included in 'Rules for Classification and Construction, II – Material and Welding Technology, Part 3 – Welding'.

In April 2010 Protea executed an internal company audit together with DNV inspector, covering complex control of our quality system, together with actual implementation in practice. A positive outcome effected in getting a DNV certificate for a competent manufacturer of high quality products.

The range of the Certificate covers the whole manufacturing facility in Kluczbork, Poland and is valid through April 2012. DNV certificate marks out Protea as a manufacturer of welding constructions according to DNV’s rules and regulations, which cover technology, production and all other factors affecting the final stage of Protea’s products.
